Country Life's Realfood Organics™ employ a unique and right-protected process called Cryo-Active State™. This process concentrates and preserves the life giving forces provided by the organic fruits and vegetables used in each formula. This process includes pre-harvest soil analysis, proprietary blending of fruits and vegetables, a unique fermentation process, and a proprietary cryogenic freeze drying process.
- Soil analysis is performed to ensure that the optimal growing conditions are maintained. Numerous counts of research have shown that when the most favorable growing conditions are observed, vitamin, mineral, antioxidant, and phytonutrient content are exponentially higher.
- Based on the evidence related to the nutritional differences existing between various fruits and vegetables, we created a proprietary blend. The goal for this blend was to reach the highest nutritional levels possible for the way nature intended it to be: "All Natural and Alive."
- We use an exclusive fermentation process designed to achieve a few important goals. First, it helps to break down components common in fruits and vegetables that may be difficult to digest. One such element is cellulose. This will assist in nutrient absorption and assimilation. Second, it preserves the nutritional status of all fruits and vegetables contained in the blend. Third, fermentation acts in such a manner to concentrate the nutritional values. We use a very special combination of live probiotic cultures and Saccharomyces cerevisiae (common baker's yeast). This fermentation process helps to maintain the life-giving forces that nature intended fruits and vegetables to have.
- Lastly, we perform a very important freeze drying process. This is the step that offers the final preservation and helps it maintain stability throughout the remaining manufacturing process. This particular freeze-drying process maintains 100% of the vitamin, mineral, antioxidant, and phytonutrient content contained within this fruit and vegetable blend.
The chart below compares average percentages of phytochemicals retained in fruits and vegetables after using various drying methods.

The chart shows that freeze drying, unlike other food drying methods, retains 100% of the phytochemicals that were in the original fruit or vegetable.
Our products provide 100% of the fruit and vegetable nutrition...not just a portion of it!
Nutrient-Rich Complex
Nutrient loss begins as soon as the fruit, vegetable, or food source is harvested. Therefore, during the Cryo-Active State™ process, just prior to fermentation, we do add a proprietary nutrient-rich complex that contains vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants to replace only what is lost during the harvest, processing, and handling steps.
